Arena is the centre for activities in Nippur, Akkad. Traditionally, the Ancient Games take place in the Arena. The Arena also consists of a gallery, for the Kings to address the civilians and warriors (that display their skills in the Arena) of Akkad. One of the most known incidents that took place in the Arena, was the confrontation between Ashur and Sargon. The Ultimate Sacrifice was also attempted to be carried out in the Arena.
