The Kingdom of Elam was located in south-eestern Persia and was a Pre-Iranian civilization.
Elam was conquered by Enmebaragesi of Kish. The Elamite history is divided into three eras, namely: Old Elamite Period, Middle Elamite Period and the Neo-Elamite Period. Elam was renamed to Persia on the fall of the Neo-Elamite Period.
Ari The Poet was summoned by the King of Elam for court poetry. However, Ari had a disposition towards the king for a lack of certain praise and cursed him to rot in the Underworld. Ari had further mentioned that the High Priest of Elam taught him about the Ancient Egyptian history, most notably about the Spear of Osiris.
