Enki was the brother of Mathayus, the Scorpion King and the son of Ashur, a widely known mercenary. He was born in Nippur, Akkad. He used to prepare potions and it is likely that Enki is potion a maker. According to Mathayus's Mother, he left the city to find his fortune, prior to Mathayus's return. Not much is known about Enki and his whereabouts.
