Freddie Boath is an actor that portrayed Alex O'Connell in the second The Mummy film.

Boath's father and mother are, respectively, a banker and a producer, while Boath's sibling are an elder brother, Jack, and a younger sister named Millie. Boath attended a Catholic boys' school in London, and took weekly drama classes for several years alongside his brother and sister; his first experience acting was lip-synching a role in a class production of Grease.

Boath turned down a role in the Harry Potter films in favour of his role as Alex O'Connell, and, being a dedicated fan of the first "Mummy" film, knows all the lines and details; when questions about the first film came up on set, Boath provided answers.
