The Greek fisherman's trawler was a fishing boat that had been abandoned by its owner.
A simple fishing trawler, the boat was captained by a Greek fisherman who, during one day in 1934 A.D, hauled in his nets expecting to pull in a heavy catch of fish, finding instead the cursed mummy Imhotep, who cut his way out of the nets and roared in fury. The fisherman who owned the ship jumped overboard in fear for his life, leaving Imhotep to stand on its decks and perform his spells aboard it.
