John Schneider, born in Mount Kisco, New York, is a voice actor. He voices Rick O'Connell in the television series based on The Mummy.
Born in Mount Kisco, New York, Schneider began as an entertainer at the age of eight, in which he performed magic tricks for his friends and family and is the middle child in his family, the others being his younger brother Robert and his older brother John “Johnnie” Michael, who died at three. Schneider graduated from North Springs High School in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
A born-again Christian, Schneider learned about Christianity from Johnny and June Carter Cash, who he had been living with for a short time, and has founded a children’s charity organisation with Marie Osmond in 1982, as well as a company called FaithWorks Productions that produces family-oriented videos and recordings. Schneider is also an advocate for animal rights.
