Lost Seekers were members of numerous legions and campaigns that journeyed to Hamunaptra in the seek of the lost treasure. However, upon failing to explore any valuables, jewels or antiques, they came to the conclusion to leave Hamunaptra and return to their homelands, bearing nothing except doomed luck. Fate became worse when they ran out of provisions and strength and died under the scorching sun, in the Egyptian desert. Their corpses remained rotten. Rick, Evelyn, Jonathan and Gad, came across the corpses on their journey to Hamunaptra. Rick mentioned that he knew one of them, this could mean that these corpses may include fled members of the French Foreign Legion.
